Living among the cacti and coyotes in Arizona, Kassandra spends her free time writing. Besides entertaining her two Dobermans (that’s the breed you pick when you’re a cat person, right?), the author enjoys photography, hiking, traveling, music, visiting ghost towns and staying in haunted hotels.
Growing up, the author devoured books from different genres and different authors. This addiction was fed by her mother who picked up “interesting looking” books at garage and estate sales. But her heart has always been devoted to science fiction and fantasy thanks to authors like Robin McKinley and Anne McCaffrey.
Her love of writing led her to complete an Academic Certificate in Creative Writing, between earning her Bachelor’s in Theater and her Master's in Criminal Justice.

- Loves staying at haunted hotels. They have history, they have stories, and they have an energy unlike anywhere else. Stayed in those located in Bisbee (2), Douglas, Tombstone, Tucson (2), Phoenix, Jerome, Flagstaff, Prescott, Winslow (all AZ), Los Angeles (CA), and Thermopolis (WY).
