Can Sedora save itself from adversaries and allies?
Sreana wasn’t born to fight, but when the invasion began, she had no choice but to pick up a sword. After winning the war, she now leads the charge in reminding the Grenan Kingdom – who promised to help Sedora recover – that the Sedorans refuse to accept their demands. Fighting back against unfair laws and stealing back what is theirs, Sreana and her friends keep their occupiers reeling.
Until one fateful excursion into the castle puts Sreana face-to-face with her sworn enemy, King Gregor of the Grenan Kingdom.
Fate seems determined to push Sreana and Gregor closer than they ever expected. Can they accept their differences to build a strong and true alliance or will Sreana and the secrets of her Kingdom drive a wedge between them?
“I should call my guard.”
Sreana drew her sword and whipped it up
under his chin. The edge barely touched his flesh. “You would
regret it.”
He hooked his chin
over the blade. “As would you,” he countered, defiantly staring her
down.
“Call them then,” she
challenged, with a nonchalant shrug. “Might be
fun.”
“You’d die
tonight?”
“I’d rather die
fighting than be taken down like a deer.”
“You are foolish then.”
“We just met and you think you know me?”
